How to surf as googlebot in chrome - The easy way!

I recently found out that there is no easy way to surf in Chrome as googlebot, so here is how it is done.

First, install User-Agent Switcher for Chrome from the chrome web store.

Next, press the settings button inside the User-Agent Switcher Menu (located to the right of the address bar).

Next, fill the following details in the fields located in the top of the settings webpage:
New User-agent name: googlebot
New User-Agent String: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)
Append?: Append
Indicator Flag: GB

Should look like this:

Now you will see that you can select googlebot inside the default section of the extension.

Choose googlebot. Your page will reload, an you'll be able to see the letters GB in front of the User-Agent switcher icon.

That's it! You are now surfing as googlebot!
